Spanning the first two levels, Rydges Melbourne offers over 1,500 square metres of flexible meeting and event space, purpose-built to cater to conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and private functions. Connecting the spaces, the pre function foyer spaces have been designed to have seamless flow and provide the amenities needed for a pre-event space or for a trade expo, with space to set up individual booths or stands. There is free flowing complimentary still and sparkling water, juice, tea and coffee for event and conference guests to enjoy, all part of the warm Rydges service. Centre Stage, is the most spacious of the new event spaces, with its own dedicated pre-event bar. A pillar less ballroom, it features a super-sized 7 x 4 metre LED screen and operable wall to divide into two spaces if required. The architects have retained the soaring ceilings of the former theatre, with an almost 7 metre high space, providing a true sense of grandeur.    The Meeting Places on the same level can be used as one larger space, or through operable walls, divide into up to four areas, with views abundant natural light. On level two, Terrace Rooms, open onto Bossley Rooftop—an expansive indoor-outdoor space with retractable awnings and city views. This rooftop venue spans 360 square metres and is one of the largest of its kind in Melbourne’s CBD, perfect for cocktail functions and end-of-day celebrations. The architects and designers have transformed Rydges Melbourne with a colour palette inspired by the Australian landscape—featuring natural materials, soft tones, and abundant light to create an inviting atmosphere, refreshingly local.
