We have swiftly implemented heightened measures in partnership with Diversey, a leader in hygiene and infection prevention solutions, and reengineered operations in accordance with World Health Organisation's (WHO) guidelines. Sustainability

Pan Pacific Melbourne is proud to announce its recent achievement of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Industry Criteria for Hotels certification. This milestone places the hotel at the forefront of sustainable hospitality in the region, as part of Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s broader commitment to responsible tourism and environmental stewardship. As one of six Australian properties now GSTC certified, Pan Pacific Melbourne joins a growing movement of eco-conscious hotels dedicated to sustainability across key areas including community engagement, cultural preservation, and environmental impact reduction. Pan Pacific Melbourne carries a strong sense of responsibility towards the environment with eco-friendly and sustainable initiatives throughout its operations, which includes the below: * The hotel has eliminated plastic water bottles from all guest rooms and installed a filtered water tap in the lobby. The hotel collects plastic milk bottle caps to donate to Envision Hands, which transforms the materials into prosthetic hands for children in need. * Energy-efficient LED lights and sensors have been installed throughout the hotel. * Unfinished soap bars from guest rooms are collected and repurposed into clean bars and donated to people in need in developing countries through Soap Aid. * Bamboo takeaway coffee cups and containers are used for takeaway from the restaurant or cafe and are 100% biodegradable, unlike plastic. * Donating surplus food stock to OZHarvest, which donates to charities across Victoria.
