Sustainability

Our goal is to invest in making the hire industry and our company a completely 'recycling' driven entity. Although in theory buying, storing and hiring product is sustainable, there is significant waste in and around storage and especially around the custom stands and temporary exhibitions. Moreton Hire has set some focus initiatives around becoming a more sustainable business. Including reducing transport of stock. By having 4 major locations across Australia in QLD, NSW and VIC we are reducing the need for staff travel and internal stock transfers. In five years we have reduced our transfers by 83% already. Working closely with our supply chain to investigate, trial and implement things like sustainable fabric and sustainable signage options in both the exhibitions and event space. Finally we have invested heavily in a new design and creativity team who's goal is to focus on efficiencies in smarter designed, more sustainably built events.
