    Melbourne eGuide 5th edition

Business event and incentive planners now have a new tool for creating the perfect experience in Melbourne in winter, with the launch of the 5th edition of the Melbourne eGuide from Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB).

The interactive eGuide highlights some of the best of the city and beyond, providing inspiration and ideas for event planners visiting Victoria during the winter months. Discover how conferences and incentive programs can incorporate the vibrant and unique culture of Melbourne, from the thriving arts scene to the city’s sports obsession, across a wide range of specialised event suppliers and destination highlights.

“Melbourne is an incredible place to host events all year round, but this latest eGuide highlights how magical our city is during winter,” MCB CEO Julia Swanson says. “We have a unique and diverse range of experiences on offer to conference delegates and incentive program planners, and a city that is perfectly placed to cater for their every need.”

Local and international business event planners can learn more about the wide range of event venues that the city has to offer, from the stunning selection at Crown Melbourne, to the world-renowned Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, to the historic function rooms at the Melbourne Town Hall.

Melbourne cements its place as the cultural capital of Australia during winter, with an exciting array of gallery exhibitions, film and writing festivals, live music and more. With the Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation (MAP Co) undertaking the largest cultural infrastructure project in the country to create a new artistic hub, Melbourne is continuing to innovate to provide visitors with an inspirational experience.

Incentive delegates can also get a taste of Melbourne’s favourite game by incorporating an Australian Football League (AFL) match into the itinerary, played at either the historic Melbourne Cricket Ground or the stunning Marvel Stadium. With corporate event spaces at both venues, it’s the perfect way to combine business with exhilarating and unique entertainment.

The new eGuide also takes planners beyond the city to spotlight the beautiful wineries of the Yarra Valley, the wildlife haven of Healesville Sanctuary, and the wellness meccas of the hot springs on the Mornington Peninsula.

With so many more incredible venues, accommodation options, restaurants, experiences and so much more, planners are always spoilt for choice when hosting a business event in Melbourne.

“There’s always more to discover in Melbourne,” says Ms Swanson. “The guide provides inspiration and insights to allow event planners to create events that are truly one-of-a-kind.”

Business event planners can access the latest free Melbourne eGuide and MCB Recommended Supplier Directory to find inspiration for planning their next unforgettable business event in Melbourne.
