Victoria’s premier racing industry on show in 2022

Melbourne will host the 39th Asian Racing Conference in 2022, bringing hundreds of delegates to Victoria for one of the most important international gatherings for leaders in the thoroughbred racing industry.

The biennial conference will serve as the ideal platform to showcase Victoria’s premier racing and breeding industries in key markets in Asia, while creating new connections and reinforcing existing ones to keep the key issues for horse racing jurisdictions as a priority. 

The Melbourne Convention Bureau team together with Racing Victoria won the rights to host the conference in 2022 and is expected to attract 600 delegates from over 30 countries. Minister for Racing Martin Pakula recognises Victoria as a major player in a significant global industry and the conference will provide an opportunity for further demonstrating the racing industry to the world.
