Registrations open for the 2019 Destination Business Events Conference

Registrations are now open for the Destination Business Events Conference in Melbourne at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) this September.

The Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB) is pleased to host their 30th annual conference, embracing a new vision and audience with a rebranded event titled Destination Business Events.

Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) is thrilled to host the Destination Business Events conference in Melbourne from 18 to 20 September. This is a wonderful opportunity for convention bureaux, convention centres and destination marketing organisations across Australia to come together to network, engage and learn at the 30th annual conference powered by AACB.

This year’s conference theme “Customer Experience: Laneways to Success” will explore the customer’s needs (whether association clients, meeting planners, government, delegates, members) and how we can evolve our products and services to drive longer lasting relationships, greater loyalty, improved customer experiences and ultimately greater business success. Inspirational speakers, dynamic case studies, interactive workshops, robust discussions, immersive experiences and fun networking will take place over the 2.5-day event.

Delegates will also experience Melbourne’s premier convention and exhibition centre and some of city’s unique venues, enjoy superb food and wine; and receive wonderful hospitality at the new Novotel Melbourne South Wharf.

It would not be a Melbourne experience without visiting its famous laneways, renowned for a rich street art culture, covert boutiques, unique galleries, hole-in-the-wall cafes and hidden bars. Expect a few surprises and hidden gems to be revealed when you visit Melbourne this September.
