Queen Victoria Winter Night Market returns to warm up Wednesdays in Melbourne

Wednesday nights in Melbourne are set to warm up as the Winter Night Market returns to the iconic Queen Victoria Market (QVM) after a three year-hibernation every Wednesday evening from 1 June to 31 August.

For fourteen weeks, the Winter Night Market will be the perfect mid-week escape from Melbourne’s chill; gathering more than 30 global street food stalls and festival bars as well as 50 specialty stalls and artisans.

Night Market-goers can wander the historic sheds and delight in the smells, sounds and tastes of winter before taking a boogie at the silent disco then settling in to enjoy the rotating weekly schedule of live, local entertainment.

A must-attend winter event for visitors and locals alike, this year’s Winter Night Market will see a wide variety of mouth-watering new street eats as well as returning favourites.

QVM are celebrating World Environment Day with a Sustainable Shopping Tour this Friday.

Enjoy a guided walk through Queen Victoria Market and find out what it’s doing behind the scenes to reduce its environmental footprint and meet some of the traders who are embracing a sustainability philosophy.

This two-hour guided tour will be co-hosted by the Market’s Sustainability Manager Kelly Green and includes tastings and a free coffee voucher (please bring your re-usable coffee cup!)
