  • New Year, new era of events at Crown Plaza Melbourne

    The iconic Crowne Plaza Melbourne is back open for business with a complete new look and feel including new dedicated conference and event facilities.

    Venue - Pearl Riverfront
    Located on the banks of the Yarra River, the venue is the perfect space to host your next conference, meeting or event. Spanning over 1,500 square metres the new venue features six interconnecting studios plus four bespoke boardrooms and meeting rooms including a pre-function lounge. The space holds up to 700 guests and includes innovative audio visual, sound and lighting technology with a dedicated Event Staging Manager on-site from AV partner, Encore Technologies.

    With direct access to the riverside boardwalk, guests can arrive in style by helicopter, boat or be dazzled with celebratory fireworks or imaginative digital art river projects. You have access to all the resources you need to make your event unforgettable.

    Co-working spaces
    On level 3 of the building you’ll find the Atrium Rooms, fitted with a lounge, fireplace and filled with natural light it’s the perfect space for professionals to host co-working sessions in shared spaces equipped with AV technology.

    On top of this there are new ‘Go-To-Hubs’ that include seamless connectivity and technology at your fingertips. You can effortlessly connect to the hotel’s complimentary Wi-Fi and USB outlets available in public spaces, allowing you to work from anywhere.

    Hotel
    The ‘new modern’ design of the building boasts an additional 30 new accommodation rooms, and continues to stand as one of Melbourne's largest single accommodation towers with 432 guestrooms and suites. The hotel’s transformation showcases a new reimagined rooftop pool with designer cabanas. It also includes a 24-hour wellness centre and state-of-the-art TechnoGym filled with natural light overlooking the Atrium.

    Restaurant ‘Yugo’
    Yugo provides guests with an elevated culinary experiences rooted in storytelling. Using French cooking techniques merged with Asian flavoured, Chef Matthew Butcher has curated a menu that brings something new to the plate. The restaurant also hosts a frosted glass box private dining room, ‘The Cube’  - specially designed for those wanting to entertain special guests or clients.

    Dive Bar
    Featuring a menu of small plates and imaginative cocktail list to tempt, Dive Bar is where you’re sure to have a good time. Emulating New York’s East Village old school dive bars, the dimly-lit space decorated with neon and street art, is the perfect place to socialise and play into the late night.

    Pow Wow Café
    The eco and health-conscious café Pow Wow, has a California-inspired design that’s fresh and bright  and inspires a vibe that’s relaxed and cosy. It might just be your new morning coffee hot spot in Melbourne.
