    • World Conference on Health Promotion 2028: Expected to attract 1,500 delegates and generate over $8.4 million in economic impact, this event will showcase Australia’s leadership in health equity and prevention, with a strong focus on First Nations health promotion.
    • APLAR Congress 2028: The Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology will convene over 2,000 delegates in Melbourne, spotlighting Monash Health’s pioneering work in autoimmune therapies and Victoria’s $634.3 million investment in hospital infrastructure.
    Biomedical Precinct 
    Melbourne’s success is driven by its Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, the largest biomedical precinct in the southern hemisphere, which is home to over 40 hospitals and research institutes, and supported by sustained government investment over the past decade.
