Melbourne shines at International Business Events Tradeshows
October 19, 2020
Melbourne’s global reputation as a world-class business events destination was on show at recent premier international business event tradeshows around the world.
MCB’s US team participated in Business Events Australia’s (BEA) North America Showcase last week. This was the first virtual showcase by BEA in North America and was an excellent opportunity to showcase Melbourne to new corporate and incentive customers, as well as existing association clients in the US market.
MCB’s UK team joined the BestCities Global Alliance session ‘Around the World in 80 minutes’ at PlanetIMEX which also took place last week with a virtual presentation to leading international associations. The virtual platform PlanetIMEX is in lieu of two big trade shows (IMEX America and IMEX Frankfurt) for the meetings, events and incentive industry.
Rounding out a week, MCB’s CEO Julia Swanson and Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s CEO Peter King will take to the virtual stage at MICE Show Asia on from 21 to 23 October to lead discussion on differentiation on the road to recovery and growth in wake of a challenging 2020 for the global Meeting, Incentives, Conference and Events (MICE) industry.
This is an unmissable event where the incentive travel, meetings and events industry come together to connect and keep building the future of the industry.
MCB’s international presence at such high-profile events is a terrific opportunity to acquire new business, strengthen existing relationships in the industry and share valuable insights as we work towards a COVID Normal world.
