International Parks and Leisure Congress 2018

The impact urban growth and density will have on our parks, leisure and sport globally is an important topic to consider. The International Parks and Leisure Congress co-hosted by World Urban Parks and Parks and Leisure Australia will discuss ways to ensure our open spaces are protected and our lifestyles enhanced. Starting this Sunday at the MCG.

Speakers include Germán A. Enríquez Flores, an Industrial Engineer and CEO of Parque Metropolitano de León in Mexico who is passionate about climate change and believes natural protected areas, along with large urban parks, play a vital role in the cities' mitigation of GHG and environmental awareness.
