November 30, 2019
The itinerary for the second day of the Melbourne familiarisation tour for Chinese incentive agents as part of Dreamtime 2019 began with a drive out to Mornington Peninsula with Murrays visit the delightful Ripe 'N' Ready Cherry Farm to pick – and of course taste – juicy fresh cherries.
Then it was off to Green Olive at Red Hill, where the group were personally welcomed by owner Greg O'Donoghue who lead them through the venue’s practice of sustainable farming, picking produce to cook for lunch along the way. The hosted buyers then enjoyed an interactive cooking class and sampled natural olive body products. After lunch it was off to Phillip Island Nature Parks.
The adventurous had a go at Clip n Climb rock climbing before exploring the stunning Victorian scenery and wildlife. On board an EcoBoat tour, the guests were able see the island's marine wildlife up close, as well as the spectacular coastline.
A visit to Phillip Island isn’t complete without seeing the famous penguin parade, and these captivating creatures didn’t disappoint!
The evening of the second day ended in style with a dinner hosted by of Phillip Island Nature Parks CEO Catherine Basterfield, featuring delectable seafood platters, underground penguin parade viewing and time to roam the new visitor centre.
