Harry the hirers creative team channels kaleidoscopic vision for new furniture collection

In the lead up to a busy events and activation season, Melbourne Convention Bureau partner Harry the hirer launched their latest indoor, outdoor and alfresco furniture collection.  

Coined Kaleidoscope, the premium collection is underpinned by four distinct creative themes: Sanctuary, Reverie, Kinetic and Costa Del Sol, and includes 10 carefully considered furniture capsules. 

Creative Director Kerrie Thornton said that the concept of a kaleidoscope was a theme rich in meaning and inspiration and central to the design and product development process. 

“We all remember the first time we peered through a kaleidoscope: the complexity of colours and fragments of shapes, and how those different elements combine to create a beautiful moment in time, much like a special event, occasion or activation,” explains Kerrie.

Designed to inspire and enable creativity, the collection includes an abundance of new silhouettes, colours, textures and materials; giving event creatives, agencies, stylists and producers an inspiring canvas to craft their magic. 

Highlights include: 

• Interchangeable cushions to add extra personality 
• Enhanced versatility with a multitude of pieces transcending indoors, to alfresco and outdoors in durable weather tested materials 
• Stand-out table capsule Pluto combines two modular elements enabling infinite shapes in adjustable table and bar heights.

Capsule overview  

Casa: A seating collection highlighting crafting techniques through materials and texture.  
Siena: A table collection in calming oak and walnut neutrals. 
Rosetta: Scallop shaped ottomans in emboldened jewel tone velvets 
Sadie: An occasional chair in three colours, including chartreuse, teal and lilac. 
Camille: A luxe lounge collection in standalone and modular form. 
Pluto: A modular table collection in two diametric shapes. 
Margot: A seating collection available in seven sumptuous, on-trend fabric colours.  
Calypso: A retro outdoor collection in armchair and lounge available in four sorbet shades 
Sunday: A colourful, progressive seating collection designed to transcend alfresco spaces.  
Poseidon: A reimagined table collection with candy tints in pastel shades.
