    Hyatt Centric

    Hyatt Centric Melbourne is a five star property centrally located in Melbourne’s central business district, just minutes from the Docklands and Southbank precincts – home to world-class entertainment, convention centres and sporting venues.

    Modern in nature, but rustic in character, the hotel features 277 chic rooms, a fitness centre and indoor pool. Their upscale restaurant Langlands, is inspired by the local foodie scene and offers sustainable, Victorian-sourced produce in its open show kitchen. While the 25th-floor bar is the place to go for post-conference drinks with signature cocktails and stunning views across the Yarra River.

    Perfect for medium-sized conferences of 10 to a 150-delegate dinner, Hyatt Centric’s meeting and events space, ‘Bellarine’, is located on a dedicated events floor on level six. The 257 square metres of stylish event space can be completely booked out or separated into six individual rooms and booked individually (each room catering for 16 to 60 people). Bellarine is pillarless, with high ceilings and full length windows and curtains allowing for an abundance of natural light or black out. It is also attached to a 251sqm stunning outdoor balcony perfect for breaks.

    Tip - Bellarine Rooms One and Four offer direct access to the terrace, while Room Six has its own beautiful white marble bar, ideal for post-meeting drinks.

    Commons Collective

    The Commons Collective is one unique heritage building that has been reimagined into a number of eclectic event spaces, ranging from the luminous Conservatory, perfect for breakfasts or lunches, to the historic art deco Ormond Hall for gala dinners or cocktail receptions.

    Experience the vintage charm of Bar Moubray for intimate dinners and social gatherings. Or be immersed in an enchanting evening under the stars in their Rose Garden.

    The entire venue can also be booked for a large, immersive event. Maximum capacities across all spaces are for 500 delegates (banquet), 500 delegates (theatre), 1000 delegates (cocktail) and 400 delegates (cabaret).

    Hidden in plain sight on the doorstep to Melbourne’s CBD, Glasshouse is an architectural masterpiece designed for events of any size and style. With shining views across the Yarra River and surrounds, The Glasshouse makes a statement sitting within the heart of the Olympic Park Precinct — the largest sporting precinct in the world.

    The venue offers numerous event spaces to choose from, including:

    The Event Space: Showcases stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and a vast balcony with sweeping views of Olympic Park Precinct and the Yarra River. Surrounded by glass, guests feel like they are both one with the night sky and part of the celebrations inside The Event Space, making it a truly unique experience for the most memorable occasions.

    The Event Space can host up to 500 guests, or with a dance floor included, up to 450 guests. An operable wall divides The Event Space into two spaces for smaller events and breakouts.

    Meanwhile, the pre-Event Space offers a welcoming reception area catering for 350 guests cocktail-style or 100 seated. It can be enjoyed as a standalone venue or as a prelude to The Event Space.

    The Glasshouse Boardroom comfortably caters for 18 to 24 guests with the option of a private balcony overlooking Olympic Park and Melbourne’s CBD.

    Bathed in natural light with views overlooking the Olympic Park Precinct, The Executive Suite can be split by an operable wall, creating The Executive Suite Large Room or The Executive Suite Small Room; the larger catering for 32 people, and the other a comfortable fit for up to 20 – depending on if the event is cocktail style or seated.

    To add a little wow-factor, their in-house styling team at The Big Group Creative can transform the space to your desired design, or simply enjoy the modern, minimalist space as is.

    The Glasshouse Theatre can be hired for a half day, full day or night hire. With their modern facilities and spacious seating, make an impression at your next screening or corporate event at The Glasshouse Theatre. Maximum capacity is 152 (theatre) and 152 (foyer cocktail).

    OPENING JULY 2023 | Melbourne now boasts a completely transformed Rydges Melbourne.
