Celebrate Melbourne Cup Day at Supernormal

Supernormal is open throughout the day and late into the night for all race-lovers, race-avoiders and those seeking shelter after a day at the track.

Open from 12 noon until late, swing by for celebrations, commiserations and of course, an abundance of lobster rolls.

As everyone descends on Flemington for the race, Melbourne CBD is a lovely place to be to enjoy a day off without the crowds.

Our recipe for a perfect day?
Kick off with the new KAWS exhibition at the NGV, followed by a walk through the Queen Victoria Gardens before settling into two front-row seats at our kitchen bar for a long lunch of noodles and nice rice wine. Then take in a film at Kino Collins Place before afternoon tea at Cumulus Inc. - coffee and lamingtons are the perfect end to an indulgent tour of our corner of the city.

Supernormal won't be showing the race, but they will be rolling out oodles of noodles at the Chinese noodle bar.
They're satisfying, punchy, textural - everything a good noodle dish should be.
