Introducing 400 Gradi at the Yarra Valley 

In an exciting move, two celebrated brands, 400 Gradi and Rochford Wines, have come together to create a new offering in the Yarra Valley.  Set to open in late October 2018, 400 Gradi – Yarra Valley will offer a traditional Italian cuisine, complemented by an authentic winery experience.  

400 Gradi Founder, Johnny Di Francesco, and Rochford Wines Owner, Helmut Konecsny, both agreed it was time for the Yarra Valley to have a taste of premium Italian food to accompany the Red 5 Star Winery.  

Creating this new venture together is set to delight customers with a line up of delectable food, paired brilliantly with premium wine, from two respected names in the food and beverage industry.  

The menu, curated by Di Francesco himself, will showcase the award-winning Margherita Verace Pizza, along with an array of additional pizzas and mouth-watering antipasto dishes, pastas, sides and desserts.  

While indulging in the delicious Gradi offerings, guests can whet their palate with an abundance of Rochford Wines world-class wines. From its highly acclaimed 2017 Single Vineyard Isabella’s Chardonnay, to its ever-popular 2018 Estate Rosé, each wine has been carefully selected by Rochford Wines sommeliers to perfectly suit each dish.  

The opening of 400 Gradi in the Yarra Valley adds to an ever-growing list of accolades for the award-winning Melbourne pizza chef. Di Francesco said, “I am so passionate about what I do. Bringing the traditional food of Naples to the Yarra Valley is part of a continued plan to share my love for Italian cuisine with as many as possible. I thank Helmut for the opportunity to partner with such a world-class winery.”
