The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Asia Pacific Chapter Business Workshop 2019 will commence in Melbourne next week.

On Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 September, 19 ICCA members and 16 of their association leaders will connect for business sessions at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre (MCEC).

The Workshop is an annual event organised by the ICCA catered to its members in the Asia Pacific Chapter. The Workshop is a unique platform for members to introduce their clients and further expand their network by connecting with association clients invited by other ICCA members through this collaboration.

The three-day workshop is an opportunity to showcase Melbourne's capacity and capability to deliver successful business events, to key decision makers from associations looking to host their events in Asia Pacific.

Day one will commence with a Workshop Introduction Session followed by the Great Minds Live Here Welcome Dinner at Crown Metropol Melbourne. MCB’s Acting CEO Julia Swanson, will also welcome delegates with a presentation during the dinner.

Day two is full of business workshops at the MCEC, followed by a site inspection of the great facility. The day will conclude with a Gala Dinner at the beautiful State Library of Victoria.

Day three delegates will enjoy a walking tour of the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct and a panel session which will cover opportunities and challenges for International Association Meetings on Asia-Pacific. The workshop will conclude with a farewell lunch at University House.

The 2019 Workshop is organised by ICCA in collaboration with Melbourne Convention Bureau and their following partners Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre, Club Melbourne Ambassador Program, Crown, Novotel South Warf and Showtime Events.
